I ordered a medium top in black. True to size. Flattering for midsection. Have not tried in water yet.
I originally bought the bardot top without peplum, but with suggestion from an employee, I decided I needed to try the peplum style. I'm 5'5'', 130 lbs, 34D, 37 y.o. I got a size small. I probably could go with a medium too. I'm right between sizes on the size chart for tops. I am curvy, full bust, full thighs, short torso. I thought the peplum would add too much fullness, but I was so wrong. I put it on and couldn't believe how great it made me feel. I love the extra length of the peplum and it adds a little more forgiveness for covering the belly area. It's feminine, fun, classy, kind of retro. Love the cap sleeves and how it highlights shoulders. I have narrow shoulders compared to my hips, and the cap sleeves help widen my shoulders and balance me out a bit. Looking forward to wearing this in Florida in a few weeks and feeling fabulous. You're going to need the cheetah bottoms to go with it.
My daughter bought this top for our trip to Hawaii. She looked so cute in it. I love that it is durable and comfortable! We will definitely continue to purchase our suits from Janela Bay! Love the quality and the styles!
I LOVE this top. I got it in black so I can wear it with other bottoms and it is so so flattering. I just had a baby and it sits at the perfect place on my waist to make me feel cute and comfortable in my bathing suit even with my postpartum belly. (I am 175 lbs and 5 ft 7 inch after having my baby for reference.) I am breastfeeding so my breasts are a bit larger than usual. I ordered a Medium, following the sizing chart, but I felt it was too tight and restrictive so I exchanged it for a Large and now it fits PERFECTLY. I highly recommend this top and wish they had more colors!!
