THE JANELA BAY STORY
It began with the swimsuit she could not find.
Janela Bay began in 2015 with a simple problem: one of the company’s future owners could not find modest swimwear she genuinely wanted to wear. She made a swimsuit for herself, combining more coverage with a comfortable fit and a style that still felt like her.
People around her began asking for suits of their own. As that interest grew, her family encouraged the idea to become a company. What started as one practical solution became a modest swimwear collection designed for many more women looking for the same balance of coverage, confidence, and style.

Women’s swimwear grew into girls’ swim, boys’ swim trunks, and men’s swim, creating coordinated print and color stories for the whole family. Cover ups and travel-ready pieces followed to make packing for the trip feel easier.
